Team BOTA Support Tool
If you've been sent here you must really need help.  This is the home of our remote desktop support tool that will allow someone who is helping you to view your computer and even take control of the mouse. This eliminates the headache of having someone blindly tell you where to mouse click and solves the problem of how to convey what you are seeing.
The tool is a very thin client that doesn't even install any files or registry entries. In fact the entire size is about 300 kilobytes.
If you're already talking with someone that is assisting you, and they've sent you here, your next step is to download and run this:

Then, on the left side of the tool double click the name of the person that is helping you to launch a support session with them. It's that easy, and you can terminate it at any time from the icon in the tray bar.
NAT Check
RTS games are typically Peer-to-peer, which means player need to be able to connect to each other instead of a central server. With many people using routers performing NAT and software firewalls, getting everyone connected is becoming harder. If only one person in a game is firewalled, the session will actually work because their computer can launch an outbound connection to the others. However if you throw a 2nd firewalled person in the mix, they will not be able to connect to each other at all. Futhermore, they will blame each other because they "connected to everyone else just fine!"
Basically, what this tool does is try to connect to the Company of Heroes servers, and also try to have the servers initiate an inbound connection. This will tell you if you indeed have a port "open", all the way to your computer.
